FBOs at Addison
Question:
I’m going to be making a trip back home to Dallas next spring and was thinking about renting a plane to fly up to Hugo. Can anyone recommend an FBO at the Addison airport and what they require for low time pilots? TIA

My first-hand information is over three years old, but I did my private training out of Centerline Aviation at Addison. All of it in C152’s, but they were in good shape. Only ever squawked a loose wheel pant and an inoperative PTT for the left seat. Good luck…. Rob
Response:
I rented from Monarch Air when I had less than 100 hours and had a pretty good experience with them. I went up with an instructor for about an hour in a 172, and that’s all there was to it. This was several years ago, and who knows what might have changed since then, but they would probably be a good place to start.

I am taking my training at Monarch, so that I where I rent. They have a large fleet (152s, 172s, 172RG, 182, Warriors, Archers, Dakota, and several others) Also, centerline is gone, but there is a different operation at the same location called FlightLine. Also, there is is Henley’s, plus a few more. Jeff
